North Star Manor’s Assisted Living community provides a comfortable, safe option that still feels like home.

Our Assisted Living building is physically connected to North Valley Health Center, one of Northwest Minnesota’s most progressive hospitals. For residents, a sense of community is always present, a little fun is part of every day and visitors are always welcome.

North Star Assisted Living includes 20 apartments.

Services and amenities that may be available:

  • Furnished appliances (mini-refrigerator/freezer, microwave, window blinds)
  • Utilities including electricity, heat, air conditioning, garbage, water, sewer, recycling, internet (excludes phone)
  • Basic cable television per cable provider’s description
  • Emergency response system
  • Weekly light housekeeping
  • Daily trash removal from apartment
  • Weekly linen service
  • Available Wi-fi
  • Two loads of personal laundry
  • Private mailbox and key for US Mail Service
  • Continental breakfast in the dining room, along with two nutritious meals per day (noon & evening)
  • Daily coffee hour with snack available
  • Scheduled social, religious, educational, and recreational activities
  • Fitness equipment, activity/sunroom, private dining room and lounge
  • Limited escort service to and from North Valley Health Center/Clinic (based on staff availability)
  • General maintenance of the grounds, building, apartment and furnished appliances
  • Universal Workers on all shifts.
  • Licensed Nurse(s) on call.
