Job Summary

The Public Relations and Fundraising Officer will design and plan initiatives to create and maintain a positive public image for the company by promoting awareness of the organizations mission and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and establish a public relations strategy and plan
  • Oversee and organize fundraising events and programs
  • Schedule and coordinate regular “Sink-or-Swim” meetings
  • Maintain a robust social media presence including fundraising efforts and day-to-day activity
  • Plan, coordinate, and publish the facility’s quarterly newsletters
  • Draft and distribute materials to promote fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or guidelines related to fundraising.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience:

  •  High School diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in public relations, fundraising, sales, or marketing
